Terms of Service

Code Pirates is a coding game for children aged 3 to 7. Children do not hold their own accounts. A parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over creates the account, controls it, and adds a profile for each child. You confirm that you are the parent or guardian of every child you add.

You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it, including your children's play. You choose each child's name, avatar, and birth year, and you can edit or delete these profiles at any time. Deleting a child's profile removes that child's progress.

Code Pirates offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel, charged through our payment processor; we do not store your card details. You can cancel at any time from your account, and your paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for when we refund a charge.

If you move to a smaller plan or the free plan, we lock the profiles and content the smaller plan does not include. We keep them; we do not delete them. They unlock again if you upgrade.

Use Code Pirates for your own family's learning. Do not copy, resell, or redistribute the game or its content, reverse engineer it, interfere with the service, or use it to break the law.

We own Code Pirates and its content: the game, code, artwork, characters, audio, and text. We give you a personal, limited licence to use the service for your family while your account is active. You gain no ownership.

We built Code Pirates for young children. We show children no ads, and we let children message no one and post no public content. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why; you, as the parent, hold the consent and the controls.
